Intermediate courses for ages 5 and up
Here we begin with what is known as Level II for all children aged 5–15. The focus now shifts to technical skills. At the SSI Bronze level!
Once the children have mastered the knowledge and skills from Level I, we move on to refining the various swimming strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
Here, we build up their endurance so they can participate in Swim Team Prep, the swim team, if they’re interested.
Level I – Goal: 25m with breathing on both sides & roll turn in front crawl, backstroke
Level II – Goal: 25m freestyle, 25m competition-style backstroke with roll turn
